Rasail Min At-Tabi’in — in Urdu, پیغاماتِ تابعین — is the longest volume in the series and, for many readers, the most surprising. The Tabi’een never met the Prophet ﷺ but inherited everything he left behind, which is why they answer the question we are actually living: how do you keep faith alive when the founding moment has passed and you are in ordinary times?

Sharqawi selects a scholar, a worshipper, a judge or an ordinary believer from that generation, isolates one telling moment from their life, and writes it as a short letter to you. Authorised Urdu translation by Asadullah Mir-ul-Hasni, published by Darul Mus-haf, 336 pages, card cover.

Why readers choose this book

  • The most relatable generation. Like us, they held on to something they received rather than witnessed — which is exactly why their example lands so hard.
  • Short, complete chapters. One life, one lesson, five minutes.
  • Sincerity over performance. Worship nobody saw, knowledge sought without applause, integrity when it cost money or position.
  • Fresh material for talks. Stories most readers in Pakistan have never encountered, told in accessible Urdu.

What you will find inside

  • Short reflective letters drawn from the lives of the second generation of Muslims
  • Themes of ikhlas, seeking knowledge, restraint, justice and quiet worship
  • Portraits of scholars and worshippers whose names are known but whose lives rarely are
  • The same warm, direct voice that carries the whole Rasail series

Who should buy this book

  • Readers who finished the earlier volumes and want the story continued
  • Students of knowledge looking for models of sincerity and discipline
  • Anyone who feels born in the wrong century — this is the book for that feeling
  • Halqa and dars leaders in need of fresh, authentic material
  • Gift buyers completing a set for someone

About the author — Adham Sharqawi

Adham Sharqawi (أدهم شرقاوي) is a contemporary Arabic writer of Palestinian origin, based in Lebanon, who writes online under the pen name Qass bin Sa’idah (قس بن ساعدة). His short spiritual essays reached millions of readers through social media before becoming bestsellers across the Arab world. The Rasail series — letters from the Qur’an, from the Prophet ﷺ, from Umar, from Ali, from the Sahaba and the Tabi’een, and letters addressed to women and to men — is his best-known work, valued for reaching a generation that grew up online and reads in short, honest bursts.
